Using the dashboard

1. Explore and filter. Search recipients, project IDs and full narratives. Combine community, county, funding, infrastructure, category and commitment-year filters.
2. Follow the funding. With a funding-source filter, headline amounts show that source’s commitments. Project details always show the full funding breakdown.
3. Use the map or table. Select a cluster to list its projects. Zoom, pan or fit the map to results. Every record, including unmapped projects, is available in Project explorer.
4. Share a project. Open its project page and choose Copy project link. Site access permissions still apply.
5. Export or print. Export filtered data downloads the supplied funding columns and original descriptions. Print project opens the browser’s print dialog, where Save as PDF is available.

One project can receive multiple funding sources. Each source’s dollars are summed separately; project counts use unique project IDs. The sample has no separate BIL column and no grant/loan split. Neither is inferred from the source names.

Time charts use the single binding commitment date supplied for each project. This is not a schedule of disbursements or a separate date for each funding component.

Locations and missing information

Coordinates are Census representative points for the named community. They do not locate a treatment plant, pipe, well or project site. The Glencliff record is not mapped because its supplied community label was not matched to the downloaded town/place files.

The spreadsheet has no district, status, grant/loan, Disadvantaged-category designation or media fields. These remain unassigned. A community count means distinct City/Town labels in the supplied data, which can include villages as well as municipalities.

Project titles are shortened editorial labels. Original project descriptions, funding values, IDs, category labels and source row numbers are retained. Minor display corrections and unresolved source inconsistencies are listed below.

Data updates and accessibility

NHDES supplies Excel updates up to twice per year. Historical records are included in the five-year scope and expected during Years 2–5. Bug fixes, security patches and uptime monitoring are separate from those planned data updates.

The sample contains no photos or videos. Production media will be supplied by NHDES, with the solution hosting JPG photos and MP4 videos. This dashboard does not substitute stock imagery for actual projects.

The required accessibility target is WCAG 2.1 AA. Keyboard controls, labeled charts, native form controls and a complete table alternative are included; formal accessibility acceptance remains a production activity.
